1. Jace Laviolette - Texas A&M
HEIGHT: 6’6
WEIGHT: 230
B/T: L/L
DRAFT DAY AGE: 21 YR 7 MO
HOMETOWN: KATY, TX
Jace Laviolette will stay as the top ranked college prospect until given a reason otherwise. He is truly a freak talent, and there really isn’t a good MLB comp for him because he is such an outlier but draws many similarities to recent first rounders Spencer Jones and Jac Caglianone. The only concern with Jace is a bit too much swing and miss, but his high walk rates relieve some of that concern. He has a violent and quick swing with a great ability to do damage pull side. Jace is primed for a record breaking 2025 college season, which could cement him as the 1st overall pick in the draft.

2. Tyler Bremner - UC Santa Barbara
HEIGHT: 6’2
WEIGHT: 180
B/T: R/R
DRAFT DAY AGE: 21 YR 2 MO
HOMETOWN: SAN DIEGO, CA
There is a lot to be excited about with Tyler Bremner due to his upside. This is kind of hilarious to say about someone that already throws 98 mph with a demon changeup but as he continues to mature and put on size he might find himself in triple digits very soon. His slider continues to progress, and the three pitch mix is a nightmare for any hitter. The SOS with UCSB isn’t the best, but Bremner still has proven himself against tougher opponents. It will be Bremner or Arnold for the first college arm off the board in the draft.

3. Jamie Arnold - FSU
HEIGHT: 6’1
WEIGHT: 192
B/T: L/L
DRAFT DAY AGE: 21 YR 3 MO
HOMETOWN: TAMPA, FL
Jamie Arnold is one of the most exciting lefty arms in recent college baseball history. His unique arm slot creates a fastball shape that induces carry and arm side run, which he throws as fast as 97mph and generated nearly a 40% whiff rate in 2024! That fastball is then paired with his slider, which has hitters flipping a coin, and when they guess right, it still doesn’t really matter because they also missed that 41% of the time in 2024. He flashes a changeup that he throws from time to time and has good feel for, but when that is on, the arsenal is absurd. There is certainly a case for the results in ACC play with a 159/26 K/BB ratio in 2024 projecting him ahead of Bremmer for the first arm off the board.

4. Cam Cannarella - Clemson
HEIGHT: 6’0
WEIGHT: 180
B/T: L/R
DRAFT DAY AGE: 21 YR 10 MO
HOMETOWN: HARTSVILLE, SC
Cam Cannarella might be the best overall athlete in the draft class. His 2023 season with Clemson was incredibly impressive, hitting nearly .400 as Clemson's leadoff hitter. His 2024 season was great as well, but he played the entire season with a torn labrum, and you have to think that impacted his play in some capacity. He's a hit over power guy but is the perfect leadoff hitter due to his ability to get on base and run. He provides the best defense in the country in centerfield making unreal catches at times and showed in his freshman year (when healthy) the ability to steal bases. I could really see Cam being a top 5 pick if he goes out and has a year better than his freshmen campaign.

5. Luke Stevenson - UNC
HEIGHT: 6’1
WEIGHT: 200
B/T: L/R
DRAFT DAY AGE: 20 YR 11 MO
HOMETOWN: WAKE FOREST, NC
Catchers who can hit are as valuable as it comes. Luke Stevenson is that, and he’s going to be a draft eligible sophomore! The young lefty blasted 14 home runs as a freshman and handled himself very well behind the plate for a talented UNC team. He grades out with a 60 arm and 55 field. He only threw out 7 runners out of 35 SBA last season, if he improves on that, he could find himself with the Buster Posey award at the end of the year. His power paired with his elite defense behind the plate makes him a highly sought after commodity, and he’s only getting better.

6. Ethan Petry - South Carolina
HEIGHT: 6’4
WEIGHT: 235
B/T: R/R
DRAFT DAY AGE: 21 YR 1 MO
HOMETOWN: LAND O’LAKES, FL
Ethan Petry’s power is as legit as it comes, and he's proven it on the biggest stages in college level baseball: the SEC, and the Cape Cod League. Petry has 44 home runs in the SEC and had 11 in the Cape this past summer in just 125 PA, earning him MVP honors. There is swing and miss concern with him, but I think the tradeoff is fine if it's to the tune of 1 home run every 10 PA’s, in addition to the decent amount of walks he draws. It seems Petry will find himself at first base and DH in pro ball due to his limited range in the OF, but the bat sells itself.

7. Devin Taylor - Indiana
HEIGHT: 6’1
WEIGHT: 215
B/T: L/R
DRAFT DAY AGE: 21 YR 6 MO
HOMETOWN: CINCINNATI, OH
Devin Taylor is a very exciting player. The physical lefty has a good hit tool with a proven track record of hitting for power in the Big Ten and the Cape Cod League. He has raw juice with a short, quick swing where he does most of his damage pull side but has the ability to drive the ball the other way as well. If he continues to improve on his speed and fielding, he becomes a legit 5 tool player. Taylor is another guy who can really improve his already good draft stock if he shows improvement in other aspects of his game this year.

8. Dean Curley - Tennessee
HEIGHT: 6’3
WEIGHT: 212
B/T: R/R
DRAFT DAY AGE: 21 YR 2 MO
HOMETOWN: LA VERNE, CA
The draft-eligible sophomore came into the SEC as a freshman and was the everyday shortstop for the Tennessee Volunteers and to say he held his own is an understatement. Curley is a physical specimen with a pro ready body and is a legit 5 tool player. He is projected as a third baseman at the pro level but is expected to remain at shortstop for the Volunteers in 2025. I tried to find a negative on Curley and really couldn’t find anything. Special talent.

9. Kyson Witherspoon - OU
HEIGHT: 6’2
WEIGHT: 206
B/T: R/R
DRAFT DAY AGE: 20 YR 11 MO
HOMETOWN: NEPTUNE BEACH, FL
The hard throwing righty has the chance to solidify his draft stock this year if he proves that he can command the baseball better. Witherspoon had 40 walks in 80 innings in 2024 but 90 strikeouts as well. He can run his fastball up to as high as 99 mph and offers an elite secondary pitch with a high 80’s slider that he manipulates the shape on. His changeup is a work in progress, but when it's thrown well, it's a good pitch. Witherspoon becomes even more dominant than he already is once he improves his command, the sky's the limit from there.

10. Aiva Arquette - Oregon State
HEIGHT: 6’4
WEIGHT: 220
B/T: R/R
DRAFT DAY AGE: 21 YR 8 MO
HOMETOWN: KAILUA, HI
The Oregon State transfer is drawing a lot of attention because of his plus power at a position you don’t normally see, and rightfully so. Arquette was a very physical second baseman at Washington who has above average tools across the board. He’s projected to play shortstop for Oregon State this year, and if he proves himself there as well, it will certainly help his draft stock. He didn't have the best summer in the Cape Cod League but has a chance to be one of the first college bats off the board if he improves on his last season at Washington.
